Health Ambassadors
The Health Ambassador program promotes health before, during and after pregnancy. The objective of the program is to connect pregnant women and families to health care, social services and education to increase their health and well-being. Health Ambassadors conduct grassroots outreach in the community, host educational sessions at community centers and faith-based organizations, participate in health fairs and community activities, set up tables with educational material throughout the targeted areas and host large-scale educational community baby showers.
